AUGUST 28 - SEPTEMBER 5!
New this Year:
AN EXCLUSIVE DAY OF HARNESS RACING ONLY ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 27!
FREE ADMISSION to the grandstands for an extra day of racing! The Lion’s Club will be serving food and the beer garden tent will be open. No other venue will be open.
The 133rd Windsor Fair is over a century of collaboration of farm and family traditions. It’s a week to kick back and enjoy the down-home hospitality of Maine fairs, including horse and oxen pulls, and an opportunity for kids to showcase their prize steers, lambs, donkeys and goats. Pig scrambles are a favorite for kids and spectators alike.
Whatever your interests, the Windsor Fair has events for you. The 4-H Horse Show, Woodsman’s Field Day Events, Scarecrow Contests or Sheepdog Demos are only a few experiences that await you. Try your luck at the Ladies Fry Pan Throwing Contest on Saturday, September 3 at 1PM.
You can view the giant Pumpkin/Squash Weight Contests and other home-grown prize-winning fruits and vegetables, jam, apple pies and baked goods. Blue ribbon judging is always fun to enter and see this year’s ingenious tasty entries.
Home arts and crafts, painting, photography and quilting arts are judged and on display, filling the exhibition halls surrounding the midway. The Windsor Fair Mall showcases talented Maine crafters and business entrepreneurs bringing out the Maine can-do spirit.
The Roadhouse is home to an intimate entertainment stage. Many beloved local musical groups perform daily. Check the website for scheduling.
The Windsor Fair hosts Maine Harness Racing at its best! This year racing begins a day early on August 27. A full slate of races are on the schedule. There are no harness racing events on August 30 or 31.
Rockwell Amusements take charge of the midway. Your favorite independent food trucks will be in full swing offering hot dogs, dough boys and a wide variety of treats.
One of the truly unique venues is the Windsor Historical Society’s Museum complex. It consists of 12 buildings including an old one-room schoolhouse, a historic carriage barn, working saw mill, and blacksmith shop.
