Apple Pudding Cake

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 c. peeled and sliced  apples


Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine eggs and sugar; beat well. Add melted butter mixing thoroughly; add salt, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and flour, mixing well. Add apples and stir. Spread in greased and floured 9x13-inch pan. Bake for 1 hour. Serve warm or cool with ice cream or whipped cream. Yield: 12 servings.
